The large LCD screen displays easy-to-read, stabilized temperature readings within four seconds of insertion. An extra-long stainless steel probe keeps hands away from heat, and the safety cover attaches to the back of the thermometer to provide an extended handle.

Instant Read 1.5mm ultra-fine probe tip reads internal temperatures in 6 seconds.
• Temperature range -40°F to 482°F/-40°C to 250°C
• Hold feature lock in a final temperature on the display even after removing the thermometer from food by pressing the HOLD button.
• Battery powered by two 2 CR2032 batteries included. The thermometer can be powered off of will auto shut off after a few minutes of no change in temperature
