Please read our entire Return Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  Products and components must not show signs of use, abuse, or misuse. That means the product must not be dirty, cracked, dented, or scratched.   Returns are subject to a re-stocking fee or will be returned to you.

Perishable goods such as food products & recipe books cannot be returned.  Electrical components 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable).  
Any item not in its original condition and damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.  Please call us as we can make exceptions sometimes, depending on the Brand you purchased.

Refunds (if applicable)
Please call 1-888-692-6724 for an authorization number.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-7 days If your product qualifies for free freight or you paid a flat rate (most of our rates are flat rates), the freight that we paid to send it (not the flat rate) will be deducted from your refund.   

Cancelations:  We can cancel your order and issue a full refund if the order has not been shipped out.   Please note that the window between receiving an order and having it processed for shipping is sometimes very tight, even within a few hours. Contact us as soon as possible as an email cannot guarantee a way of cancelation. If your order has already been shipped & you return it must be unused in the original manufacturer's box that has not been altered in any way. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless you have to return the product because of our error.  Once the product is used 


If your purchase from us stops working due to a manufacturer defect, please let us know as soon as possible by sending an email to quality@hometechcanada.ca and we will work with you to determine your warranty coverage.  Note we are authorized warranty centres for some brands 

Exchanges (if applicable)

Once the product is used and unsatisfactory, we only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at Quality@homtechcanada.ca and send your item to 375 Broads St. Regina Sk S4R 1X2 with the authorization number we give you.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of originally shipping the item will be deducted from your refund (not necessarily the amount you paid for shipping originally but the actual cost to ship the item to you originally).

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

These are the policies that enable us to be competitive as a Family-Owned Canadian Small Business.  We appreciate everyone who has supported us over the last 30-plus years.  We sell quality small appliances & kitchen gadgets that Starla, Gillian & Kathy have owned or evaluated.  We will assist in any way we can in the rare event that there is a problem with your product.
